I am bringing my son (6 yrs old) to my chiropractor for his first visit and am curious to see if it will help. My son tends to fight with me anytime we sit down to work on school things, lots of time outs, lots of completely ignoring rules and directions. Yet he can be the sweetest little boy who loves to snuggle and help with cooking! I absolutely do not believe in drugging my child and I will explore all other options- like chiropractic care!

Eric, agreed “The child is not only the future of the country, but also it is the hope of the family, especially there is only one child in every family”. However, you can find many offenders roaming freely which is the main concern for Child protection and safety. Children need to go to school, play with friends and go out with friends or with family, and to keep them under your watch is not possible all the time. Thanks to the huge leap in Technology GPS safety products comes handy at for Children safety. My colleague advised me eSafe GPS child tracking device for my Son to protect him from any uncertainty in life. It has the ability to provide step by step update about child and quick alert if my child needs any assistant anywhere. We are very relax knowing he us safe and be alerted about his activities all the time no matter where he is.

My 8 year old son has ADHD and I have avioded using drugs on him and instead I am using a combination of 5ml of liquid Animal Parade multivitamins,1 animal parade vit c pill plus 5ml of Boots omega 3. Since he has been taking these he has improved in every aspect-i.e concentration, behaviour, socially and he is able to control his anger. Unfortunatly I have run out of the liquid vitamin and I can´t find a health shop that continues selling it (I live in Madrid Spain). For the past month I have now noticed some of the symptoms are coming back,is this due to the lack of multivitamins? I am now desperatly trying to get hold of them again as I believe this combination is what works for him. It took about 4 weeks for this combination to start working and he has been taking it since jan 2011.

Thank you Dr Kane,
Just wanted to mention that the Amenn clinic in DC and in Newport Beach CA does brain scans on these individuals. They have us informed us that there are at least 5 sub-types of ADHD and with RX meds, they all have a different treatment regiment. Instead of try this or that and see what happens, tht're approach is SOTA, much less guess work and who really wants their child to be a mini experiment anyway. I know the "try and see" method is the state of the industry but it doesn't have to be. The scans are very informative. The drug "Intuniv" I don't believe has been mentioned frequently and has helped our son towards a positive change in the first 10 days. Drugs that were prescribed for our son were actually "contra indicated" in his cas after we received the scan results. Lucy for me I knew better not to experiment. How many physicians are flying by the seat of their pants?
Also I should mention that there is one common supplement indicated in allthe subtypes and that is omega 3 FA's. They also believe in more foundational issues such as the Feingold diet or approach to nutrition. Warmest regards, Dave Hadland DVM

I am in this situation regarding the conflicts of my defiant Child. I would like more options if you could, regarding consequences of not picking up after himself. Telling him I would throw out his things is a little extreme for me, since
I was the one who bought the items/clothes in the first place.
Help!

I understand the advice that is given in this article but my problem is; I have tried all of these and NONE of them have worked for my son. He does NOT care if I throw all his stuff away and could really care less if he gets anything or not. He would rather, at least I believe make me mad.
